Thanks for visiting us at Playground Stylings.

It's been quite a journey since 2007 when we designed our first shirt for the Cafe Press marketplace. We met in 2000 and became fast friends and allies through our other work lives. Isabelle owns a boutique web and print design shop called Fox Parlor. Donna operates her own Flash design and development collective, FlashBrigade. As our friendship grew, we wanted to find an interesting personal project to work on together and Playground Stylings is the result.

Playground Stylings takes my personal situations as mother to a 6 year old and carves out some off-beat, fun, eco-friendly and timely messages to wear while at play. Many of our designs will be just plain silly and fun to wear. We've launched our online store with eco-friendly messages on organic t-shirts because we are very conscious of the World we live in. At home, we are very 'green' and are raising our son with a keen eye to the conservation of our Earth. Just imagine what an entire generation of environmentally aware children can do! We like to think we're helping them on their way by teaching them to have the greenest attitude on the playground.

You can find the most unexpected in the expected -- if you open up enough to let your mind go there. As a graphic designer, I spend a lot of time on business collateral so working on these tees allows me to fully engage all my senses. There's nothing like diving back into childhood to remind us of why we went into design. Spending time with basic symbols and shapes, or lambs and trucks again can inspire us all. Playground Stylings is all about having fun and making the world a better-looking place in the process.
